National Advisory Board
The Advisory Board informs decisions about the strategic direction of DAN and provides advice to the Management Committee. To ensure the accountability of DAN’s finances, the Board reviews financial reports prepared by the treasurer of the DAN Committee.

Committee of Management
Decisions regarding the strategic direction, operations and activities of the organisation are determined by the Management Committee after considering the recommendations of DAN members the Advisory Board.

Staff
There is one staff member based in Melbourne and committed volunteers and community members in both Melbourne and Sydney.

Volunteers
DAN activities are supported by the staff members, but primarily carried out by DAN volunteer members.
